William Barclay says, "Seize your opportunities as they come." Life presents us with all kinds of opportunities along the way. As believers, we need to rejoice in the hope for all that God has promised to do for those in Christ. When we are confronted from time to time with troubles, we are to remain positive, to endure our affliction with patience and always be in prayer.
At times, God's answer may not be the one we are looking for. However, when life presents us with opportunities, we should seize them. How many times have we ignored or let opportunities pass us by? We need to be patient in our troubles and doubts and remember that God will be there for us if we will just listen for and to Him.
Prayer: Lord, help us to keep hope in our hearts and to remember that the answers that you give us to our prayers will sustain us for eternity. Amen.
